weekend #49

I can't believe there are only three and a half weekends of 2016 left!
I've not decided if I'm going to carry on doing these weekend recaps into next year yet; some weekends there's loads to recap and others there's just me, doing my cleaning and being lazy. I guess I'll just play it by ear.

After a late night on Friday (Christmas socialising has begun!), a brew in bed was much needed...

The town we live in, as well as the neighbouring town, held festive markets this weekend, so we decided to head to Ashby's festive food market before checking out what Coalville had to offer...
We bought some locally produced cheeses and chutneys for Christmas, as well as sampling some festive food treats ourselves. Feeling suitably festive, we headed back home, where I took the opportunity to put up some of our Christmas decorations before we buy and decorate our trees next weekend.

Saturday evening was spent with my bro watching UK country act The Shires perform at the O2 Academy in Birmingham :)
They're so good live; if you have no idea who they are, you really should check out their website or give them a listen on Spotify.

It was a frosty start on Sunday...
And after doing so much on Saturday I took the opportunity to relax, catching up on some blogs, vlogs and shows before heading over to my parents house for our weekly roast dinner, which we followed with a walk across the absolutely freezing cold wintery fields...
That sunset sky though!

Have a great week,
