I don't know about global warming, but this is the first March in five years of working in the centre of town that I've had the window in my office open! The weather is glorious, surely it cannot last much longer!
What a stunning Sunday today was! I've not been for a walk around the fields near my parents' house for a couple of weeks and do you know what? I really missed it. It's so peaceful out there and on a day like today, when the sun is shining, it's a glorious place to be :)
We all know how expensive energy prices are at the moment, so imagine my shock when I arrived home from work today to find this letter from my energy supplier, saying they were going to be reducing, yes REDUCING, my monthly direct debit because I wasn't using as much gas and electricity as estimated! You could have knocked me down with a feather! I'm over the moon, as I seriously thought they'd be writing to me to increase my payments, as they have done every other winter. So, I may only be £15 a month better off, but it's better than being £15 a month worse off!!!!
I had the afternoon off work today to go to the dentist and docs, so I decided to call into my mum and dad's house in between appointments. They were having new windows installed, but just look at how blue the sky was - beautiful!
